Ingest observable data from Elasticsearch into CloudMonitor 2.0 to monitor your Elasticsearch service.

Prerequisites

Limits

  • Only the ingestion of CloudMonitor metrics is supported.

  • If you use a RAM user for data ingestion, grant the AliyunCloudMonitorFullAccess system policy to the user.

Billing

Data ingestion

  1. Log on to the CloudMonitor 2.0 console.

  2. Select a destination workspace. In the navigation bar, click Integration Center and find the Elasticsearch integration card.

  3. Create a new integration policy or select an existing one. Then, select the scope of entities for ingestion.

  4. On the integration configuration page, enter an integration name (optional) and select the observable data that you want to ingest.

    • Tag Key: Specify the instance tag keys to add to the metrics. The tag key-value pairs are automatically injected into the metric labels. Use commas (,) to separate multiple tag keys.

    • Enable all tags: Enables all instance tags. Enabled by default.

  5. After ingestion, view the entities and their observable data in the Entity Query application or related cloud product insight applications.

Uninstall or modify an integration policy

To cancel or modify the provisioning for Elasticsearch, find the corresponding policy on the Provisioning page in the Integration Center and click Edit or Delete.

Storage policy

After you integrate Elasticsearch, CloudMonitor creates a corresponding Prometheus instance to store the observable data.
