The autonomy center in Database Autonomy Service (DAS) shows all autonomous events for your database instance within a specified time range. Events fall into four categories: abnormal events, optimization events, auto scaling events, and other events. Use the autonomy center to track what DAS detected and acted on, and to review the impact on key instance metrics.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that you have:

  • A Tair (Redis OSS-Compatible) database instance

  • MyBase Redis

Enable the autonomy service

Before viewing events, enable the autonomy service for your instance.

  1. Log on to the DAS console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Instance Monitoring.

  3. Find the database instance and click the instance ID. The instance details page appears.

  4. On the instance details page, click Autonomy Center in the left-side navigation pane.

  5. On the Autonomy Center tab, click Autonomy Service Settings in the upper-right corner.

  6. On the Autonomous Function Settings tab of the Autonomous Function Management panel, enable the autonomy service and click OK.

View events

After enabling the autonomy service, specify a time range on the Autonomy Center tab to view events. DAS organizes events into the following categories: abnormal events, optimization events, auto scaling events, and other events.

To review event details:

  • The trend chart shows the duration of each event and how key instance metrics changed during that period.

  • To see more detail about a specific event, click Details.
