Database Autonomy Service (DAS) supports the Alert Service, which allows you to customize alert rules and templates. When a database instance triggers an alert rule, DAS automatically sends an alert. This topic describes how to configure and manage alert templates in DAS. These templates are a prerequisite for setting up alerts.

View: View the details and alert history of the alert template.
The template details page displays basic information, including the template name, enabled status, template type, alert contact, number of included rules, and associated clusters and instances. In the upper-right corner of the page, you can find the Associate Resource, Edit, Disable, and Delete buttons. The alert rule list at the bottom shows the enabled status, metric, rule description, notification interval, effective time, alert contact, and notification method for each rule.
NoteClick X next to an associated resource to disassociate it.
-
Associate: Associate the alert template with a cluster or instance. An instance, a cluster, or the 'All Resources' scope can be associated with only one alert template at a time. A new association overwrites any existing one. When determining the final alert template for an instance, DAS searches in the following order of precedence: Instance > Cluster > All Resources, and applies the first template found.
Parameter

Associated Dimension
Specify whether to associate the template with all resources, at the cluster level, or at the instance level.
