Database Autonomy Service (DAS) provides the inspection and scoring feature, which performs daily, automated inspections and scores all your database instances. You can also manually inspect specific instances for custom time ranges to assess their operational health.

Prerequisites

  • The target database instance must be one of the following:

    • ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL

    • self-managed MySQL database

    • PolarDB for MySQL

    • ApsaraDB MyBase for MySQL

    • Tair (Redis OSS-compatible)

    • MyBase Redis

  • The target database instance must be connected to DAS with a status of Normal Access. For more information, see Connect a database instance to DAS.

Enable inspection and scoring

  1. Log on to the DAS console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Tools > Inspection and Scoring.

  3. On the Inspection and Scoring page, configure instance inspection and scoring.

    • Enable automatic inspection and scoring:

      1. In the upper-right corner, click Settings.

      2. In the Configure Inspection and Scoring dialog box, select the database engine and click OK to enable the feature.

        Note

After you enable automatic inspection and scoring, the system scores each connected instance once a day at a random time.

    • Run a manual inspection:

      1. Click Initiate Inspection.

      2. In the Instance Inspection dialog box, go to the Select Instances section, select one or more target instances, and then click 选择.

      3. In the Inspection Time section, set the inspection period.

        Note

The start time cannot be later than the current time. The time range must be between 1 hour and 24 hours.

      4. Click Confirm.

View inspection and scoring results

After enabling inspection and scoring, you can search for an instance by its instance ID or alias to view its results for specific time ranges.

Note

The scoring system uses a 100-point scale and deducts points based on a set of scoring rules. For more information, see Scoring rules.

  • In the Actions column of the target instance, click Delete to remove its inspection and scoring result.

  • Click Deduction Details in the Actions column of the target instance to view the Deduction Details table.

  • In the Actions column of the target instance, click Report to view its Scoring Report Details.

  • Click an instance ID to view the instance's performance on the Performance Trend page. For more information, see Performance Trends.

  • Click the 下载 icon to export the inspection and scoring results locally.
