Overview of verification records

Updated at:

Verification records store the results of quality rule checks on Dataphin data tables, global data tables, metrics, data sources, and real-time metatables. You can view the verification results for each quality rule.

Permissions

  • Super administrators and quality administrators can view all verification records.

  • Project members can view the verification records of projects they are members of.

  • Regular members can view verification records for data tables for which they are the quality owner. Additionally, regular members who have a custom global role with Quality Rule - Manage permissions can view the verification records of any member.

  • The supported operations and permissions vary depending on the object. For more information, see Verification record operations and permissions.

View verification records from different perspectives

Dataphin lets you view quality rule verification records from three perspectives: Global, Project, and Personal.

  • Global: Super administrators and quality administrators can view all verification records.

  • Project: Super administrators and quality administrators can switch between all projects to view verification records. Project members can only view verification records for projects they are members of.

  • Personal: Super administrators and quality administrators can switch to any member's perspective to view their verification records. Regular members can only view verification records for which they are the quality owner and cannot switch views.

Note
  • If a quality rule has permission restrictions enabled, those restrictions take precedence.

  • When you view verification records from the project perspective, only the records for the selected project are displayed.

  • When you view verification records from the personal perspective, only the records for which you are the quality owner are displayed.
