Delete project
This topic describes how to delete a project.
Prerequisites
Only projects without dependent objects can be deleted.
Procedure
Navigate to the Dataphin home page, select Planning > Project from the top menu bar.
Click Project Management at the bottom of the page, then click Enable Batch Delete Mode.
Select one or more projects, or choose Select All at the bottom, and click Delete to perform batch deletion.
NoteWhen selecting projects of the Dev-Prod type, the system will automatically select the corresponding paired project.
In the Batch Delete Projects dialog box, choose projects with the Status column marked as No Objects
, then click OK to confirm.NoteIn Dev-Prod type projects, if neither project contains objects, the system will automatically select the paired project when one is selected; if either project contains objects, neither can be selected.
If a project is marked as No objects but cannot be deleted, it may contain objects. Click the Batch Delete Project dialog box's
icon to refresh. After refreshing, the project's status will update to Has objects. You must delete the corresponding objects before deleting the project.
View objects in projects to be deleted
The Batch Delete Projects dialog box lists projects for deletion, including their name, status, environment, description, and module information. If a project contains objects, the Status column will show Has Objects
. Click the icon in the status column to view the object types and quantities within the project. Click the corresponding object type to navigate to the appropriate functional module for deletion or detachment.
If value-added modules such as Tag Factory, DataService Studio, etc., have expired, objects within these modules will not be checked or displayed during batch project deletion.
Detach service acceleration engine
Detach the project's service acceleration engine before deleting the project if it contains Dataphin data sources.
On the Project Management page, click the Information Settings of the target project card.
In the Information Settings dialog box, shut down the service Acceleration Engine switch. After shutting down, the corresponding computing source will be released.
NoteIf the acceleration engine is referenced by a Dataphin data source, it cannot be turned off. View the data source list in the prompt dialog box and click the data source name to navigate to Service > API Development > Dataphin DataService Studio for data source deletion.
