Administration item management
This topic describes the processes for creating, viewing, editing, and deleting administration items.
Manage administration items
On the Dataphin home page, select Administration > Resource Administration from the top menu bar.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose Administration Item Management > Administration Item Management to access the Administration Item Management page.
On the Administration Item Management page, you can view the My and All administration items. The page displays the name, type, administration realm, administration object, owner, application push count, and status for each item.
You can quickly filter administration items by entering keywords of the administration item name in the search box, or by clicking the
icon to filter by type, administration realm, and administration object.Administration Item Name: The name of the administration item.
Type: Includes both Custom Administration Items and General Administration Items.
Administration Realm: Encompasses Storage and Compute realms.
Administration Object: Includes Physical Table, Logical Table, Script Task, and Modelling Task.
Application Push Count: Reflects the number of times the administration item has been referenced in pushes.
Status: Shows whether the administration item is active or not:
Enable: Allows you to perform administrative operations on managed objects.
Disabled: Prevents administration operations on the object.
You can perform actions such as viewing, editing, changing ownership, modifying status, and deleting administration items.
View: Click the View icon in the Actions column for an administration item to view its details, such as the name, administration realm, administration object, owner, diagnosis epoch, description, and administration rules.
Edit: To modify the Display Fields, Administration Operations, Administration Item Description, and Rule Configuration Area of an administration item, click the Actions icon in the corresponding Edit column. For more information, see Create administration item.
Change administration item status: To alter the status of an administration item, click the Actions icon in its Enable/Disable column.
Change owner: This feature allows for both single and batch changes. To change the owner of a single task, click the Change owner icon in the operation column of the desired push task, select a member with normal status under the current tenant, and click OK. For batch changes, select the tasks you want to update, click Batch change owner at the bottom of the list, choose a member with normal status under the current tenant, and click OK to finalize the changes.
NoteNote: Post-change, the original owner will lose configuration rights.
Delete: To remove an administration item permanently, click the Actions icon in the corresponding More column and select Delete. Please note that deletion cannot be undone.
Create administration item
On the Administration Item Management page, click + Create Administration Item in the upper-right corner.
On the Create Administration Item page, fill in the parameters as prompted and click Submit.

Administration Item Type
The types of administration items comprise Custom Administration Items and General Administration Items.
Custom Administration Items are items tailored to your specific administrative needs.
General Administration Items are standard items available to all users, automatically distributed to each user, and visible only to administrators.
Basic Configuration Of Administration Items
Administration Item Name
Enter the name of the administration item:
Must not exceed 20 characters.
Must be unique.
Administration Object
Administrative objects encompass Physical Table, Logical Table, Script Task, and Modelling Task.
Upon selecting an administration object, the Display Fields and Administration Operations are automatically included. You can customize the Display Fields, which are derived from metadata, up to a limit of eight fields. Once chosen, both Display Fields and Administration Operations will appear in the Governance Workbench.
Administration Realm
The administration realms, such as Compute and Storage, are automatically determined by the system based on the selected administration object, eliminating the need for manual selection.

Provide a concise description of the administration item.

Administration Method
The administration methods are Rule Configuration and Custom SQL:
Selecting Administration Item Type as Customized Administration Item allows for Rule Configuration to include both Customized Addition and Reference General Administration Item.
Choosing Administration Item Type as General Administration Item restricts Rule Configuration to Customize Add only.
Rule Configuration Area
Custom Add
Select Custom Add.
On the Custom Add page, configure your custom rule.
Reference General Administration Items
Select Reference General Administration Items.
On the Reference General Administration Items page, set the Select General Administration Items parameter.
NoteNote: Optional general administration items are available depending on the chosen Administration Object.
Click OK to confirm.
