Before using Dataphin, a super administrator must use the Management Center to add members and set the compute engine for the Dataphin instance. The Management Center also lets you configure rules for compute and storage resources, optimize logical table tasks and SQL query tasks, and set the query engine to improve data development efficiency.

Limits

Only a super administrator can manage members, set the Dataphin compute engine, and configure the intelligent engine in the Management Center.

Features

The following table describes the features of the Management Center.

Description

Account Management

Add Dataphin members

  • View the current list of Dataphin members.

  • Add Resource Access Management (RAM) users to the member list.

  • Configure contact information for members.

  • Delete members from the Dataphin member list.

  • If a RAM user's account information changes, use Account System Sync to update the Dataphin member list.

System Settings

Set the compute engine for a Dataphin instance

Before using Dataphin, set the compute engine for the Dataphin instance by configuring its cluster endpoint. The compute engine is then used to collect, connect to, and manage metadata during data development.

Intelligent Engine

Intelligent Engine

Configure parameter rules for compute and storage resources, optimize logical table tasks and SQL query tasks, and set the query engine to improve data development efficiency.

Change Control

Create a change policy

A change policy uses existing change rules to define an effective scope and a control method. A single change policy can contain multiple rules, each with a different control method.

Create a change rule

A change rule is a validation rule that abstracts metadata from the basic properties of an object. The rule consists of logical conditions that are written using built-in system rules or custom code. Objects that fail the rule validation are brought under control. The control method is determined by the associated change policy.
