Create Blink calculation source
Create a Blink calculation source to connect Dataphin to a real-time computing engine.
Background information
Alibaba Cloud Realtime Compute - Blink edition supports shared and exclusive clusters. Exclusive mode offers richer functionality. For more information, see Service notices for real-time computing Blink.
Prerequisites

The current tenant enables the Blink Exclusive Edition as the real-time computing engine. For more information, see Set up the real-time computing engine.

Only users with the super administrator or project administrator role, or a custom role that includes the Create calculation source permission, can create calculation sources. For more information, see Data warehouse plan permission list.
Procedure

Navigate to the Dataphin home page and select Planning -> Calculation source from the top menu bar.

To reach the Create Calculation Source page, follow these steps:
Click Add Calculation Source -> Create Calculation Source -> Ververica Flink Calculation Source in that order.

On the Create Calculation Source page, fill in the required parameters as follows:

Description
Calculation Type
Choose Blink as the calculation type.
Calculation Source Name
Enter the calculation source name. The name must meet these requirements:

Can contain Chinese characters, letters, digits, underscores (_), and hyphens (-).

Cannot exceed 64 characters.
Calculation Source Description
A description of the calculation source. Maximum length: 128 characters.
Project Name
The English name of the Blink project. You can find this name in the Blink console.
Access ID, Access Key
The AccessKey ID and AccessKey Secret of the account that has access to the Blink project. You can obtain these credentials from the User Information Management page.
Important-
To ensure a stable connection between the Dataphin project space and the Blink project, use the AccessKey of the Blink project administrator.

Do not modify the Blink project AccessKey. Changing it may disrupt metadata collection.

Select Test Connection to verify the connectivity of the calculation source.

Click Submit to finalize the creation of the Blink calculation source.
