Delete project
Delete projects that no longer contain dependent objects to clean up your workspace.
Prerequisites
You can only delete projects that contain no dependent objects.
Procedure
-
On the Dataphin home page, select Planning > Project from the top menu bar.
-
At the bottom of the page, click Project Management, then click Enable Batch Delete Mode.
-
Select one or more projects, or click Select All at the bottom, and click Delete.
NoteWhen you select a Dev-Prod type project, the system automatically selects the corresponding paired project.
-
In the Batch Delete Projects dialog box, select projects with the Status column marked as No Objects
, and click OK.Note-
For Dev-Prod type projects, if neither project contains objects, the system automatically selects the paired project when one is selected. If either project contains objects, neither can be selected.
-
If a project is marked as No objects but cannot be deleted, it may still contain objects. Click the
icon in the Batch Delete Project dialog box to refresh. The project's status will update to Has objects. Delete the corresponding objects before deleting the project.
-
View objects in projects to be deleted
The Batch Delete Projects dialog box lists projects for deletion, including their name, status, environment, description, and module information. If a project contains objects, the Status column shows Has Objects
. Click the status icon to view the object types and quantities in the project, then click the corresponding object type to go to the appropriate module for deletion or detachment.
If value-added modules such as Tag Factory, or DataService Studio have expired, objects in these modules are not checked or displayed during batch project deletion.
Detach service acceleration engine
If the project contains Dataphin data sources, detach the service acceleration engine before deleting the project.
-
On the Project Management page, click Information Settings on the target project card.
-
In the Information Settings dialog box, turn off the Acceleration Engine switch. The corresponding computing source is released after you turn it off.
NoteIf the acceleration engine is referenced by a Dataphin data source, it cannot be turned off. View the data source list in the prompt dialog box and click the data source name to go to Service > API Development > Dataphin DataService Studio to delete the data source.
