To prevent accidental operations on data tables, Dataphin keeps deleted data tables in the recycle bin for 30 days. You can then permanently delete or restore these tables from the recycle bin. This topic describes how to permanently delete and restore tables from the recycle bin.
View the recycle bin list
On the Dataphin homepage, choose governance > resource governance from the top menu bar.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose recycle bin > recycle bin list to open the recycle bin list page.
On the recycle bin list page, you can view information on the Pending List, Processed List, and All tabs.
You can quickly find a data table by entering keywords from its name in the search box. You can also click the
icon next to All, select a project, and then filter the data tables.Parameter
Description
Table name
The name of the table in the recycle bin.
Project
The project to which the table belongs.
Table type
The table type, which can be a physical table or a logical table.
Recycle date
The time the data table was moved to the recycle bin.
Operation date
The date and time when the data table was permanently deleted.
Recycle status
The Recycle Status of the data table.
Permanently delete a table
Important: Permanently deleted data tables cannot be restored. Proceed with caution.
On the recycle bin list page, find the table you want to delete and click the
icon in the Actions column.In the Clear Data dialog box, click Confirm Deletion.
Batch deletion of tables
Important: Permanently deleted data tables cannot be restored. Proceed with caution. Use batch deletion to permanently delete multiple data tables at once.
On the recycle bin list page, select the tables to delete, and then click Clear at the bottom of the page.
In the Batch Clear dialog box, click Batch Clear. The tables are deleted when their Status changes to Succeeded.
Restore a table
You can restore deleted data tables to their original location.
On the recycle bin list page, find the table to restore and click the
icon in the Actions column.In the Restore Data dialog box, click Confirm Restore.
Batch restoration of tables
Use batch restoration to restore multiple data tables to their original locations at once.
On the recycle bin list page, select the tables to restore, and then click Restore at the bottom of the page.
In the Batch Restore dialog box, click Batch Restore. The tables are restored when their Status changes to Succeeded.
View execution logs
On the recycle bin list page, find the table whose log you want to view, and click the
icon in the Actions column.On the execution log page, view the Executor, Execution time, and Execution content.
Click OK to close the execution log page.
Single-tenant multi-engine
If resource governance is enabled in a multi-engine environment, the recycle bin list only shows projects that use MaxCompute or Hive as the compute engine.
