Task management lets you manage governance item type tasks and push type tasks in resource governance. This topic describes how to view task details, rerun tasks, and view logs.

Manage tasks

  1. On the Dataphin home page, choose Governance > Resource Governance from the top menu bar.

  2. In the left navigation pane, choose Governance Item Management > Task Management to open the Task Management page. The task management features for the push type and governance item type are similar. This section uses the governance item type as an example.

  3. On the Task Management page, you can view both push type and governance item type tasks.

You can quickly filter tasks by entering task name keywords in the search box, or by clicking the 筛选 icon and filtering by Owner, Business Date, Execution Date, or Task Status.

    • Task Name: The name of the task.

    • Owner: The user who owns the task.

    • Task Status: The execution status of the task. Valid values:

      • succeeded: The task completed without errors.

      • failed: The task did not complete due to an error.

      • initializing: The task is being initialized by the resource governance module.

      • running: The task is currently being executed.

      • stopped: The task was manually paused during execution.

    • Business Date: The date for which the task processes metadata and logs.

    • Execution Date: The date the task actually ran.

  4. From the task list, you can rerun or pause a task, view its details, or view its log.

    • View task details: In the Actions column for the target task, click the View icon. You can view details such as the task name, governance domain, governance object, owner, diagnosis period, item description, and governance rules.

    • Rerun task: You can rerun tasks with a status of failed or stopped. After you rerun a task, its status changes to running. If the execution is successful, the status changes to succeeded.

    • Pause task: You can pause a task with a status of running. In the Actions column for the target task, click the Pause icon to pause the task.

    • View task log: In the Actions column for the target task, click the More icon and select Log to view its run log.

Single-tenant multi-engine

In multi-engine mode, if resource governance is enabled and running correctly, the task management list only includes projects that use MaxCompute or Hive as their compute engine.
