Create audience group by importing

Dataphin supports creating audience groups by importing local files such as TXT or CSV.

Prerequisites

Before creating an audience group by importing, ensure you have created the required entity. For more information, see Manage entity.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the Dataphin home page, select Tag > Tag Workbench from the top menu bar.

  2. From the top menu bar, choose Project, and then select Audience Group Processing > Audience Group Management in the left-side navigation pane.

  3. Click the In-project Audience Group tab on the Audience Group Management page.

  4. Under the In-project Audience Group tab, select Add Audience Group.

  5. In the New Audience Group dialog box, choose Audience Group Import.

  6. Configure the Basic Information and Import Configuration on the New audience group (Audience group import) configuration page.

    • Basic Information

      Description

      Audience Group Name

      Supports Chinese characters, English letters, numbers, and underscores (_), up to 64 characters.

      Permits the use of Chinese characters, English letters, numbers, and underscores (_) within a 64-character limit.

      Audience Group Code

      The unique identifier for the audience group. Can contain English letters, underscores (_), and must not exceed 64 characters.

      Owner

      Select the owner of the audience group.

      Description

      A brief description of the audience group, up to 1,000 characters.

      Upload File

      Download the template by clicking File Template, fill in the required information, and upload the completed file by clicking Upload. Supported file formats are TXT and CSV, with a maximum file size of 300 MB.

      Audience Group ID Type

      Select the corresponding entity and entity ID.

  7. Select Submit to finalize the creation of the audience group.

    1. Once the audience group is created, you must publish it before it can be used. In the audience group management list, click image in the operation column to publish the audience group.

    2. In the publish audience group dialog box, select the version to publish.

      Note

      Before publishing, you can click View Version Comparison to review the differences between versions.

  8. Click Confirm to publish the audience group.
