This document describes how to add widgets to a DataV visualization application.

Add a map and sub-widgets

  1. In the canvas editor, click Map > Basic Plane Map.

  2. In the Configuration panel on the right, delete all sub-widgets except for the basemap layer.

  3. Add an isosurface layer sub-widget.

    Click the + icon to the left of Sub-widget Management. Select Isosurface Layer and click Add Sub-widget.

  4. Click Global Settings to expand the global configuration panel and adjust the map size.

    Drag the slider or enter a value to adjust the size and display area of the map.

Add a timeline

Click Controls > Data > Timeline to add a timeline widget to the map.

Add a map title

Click Information > General Title to add a title to the map.

Adjust widget layers and positions

After you add the widgets, adjust their layers and positions.

  1. In the Layer panel on the left of the canvas editor, adjust the layer order, select layers, and change layer titles.

  2. In the Configuration panel on the right, adjust widget parameters such as size and position.

    To move a widget, select and drag it on the canvas.
