This topic describes the configuration items for scenes in the 3D city builder. This information helps you understand the parameters on the scene configuration tab and effectively use your project.
After you enter the scene editor, click a blank area in the editor. The scene configuration items tab for the 3D city builder appears on the right. This tab includes the Style and Data tabs.
Style
Resource configuration: The style parameters for resources in the 3D city builder.
Parameter
Description
Current environment map
The environment map resource that is currently in use. You can select Style 1, Style 2, or Custom.
Resource settings
Customize the resource configuration items for the Style 1, Style 2, and Custom types. Click the
or
icon on the right to configure the arrangement of multiple resource series.Resource name: Customize the resource name.
Resource link: Enter a custom URL for the resource.
Property: Drag the slider to adjust the texture intensity of the resources for each sub-widget. The value ranges from 0 to 1.
Rotate: Drag the slider to set the rotation angle of the environment map. This adjusts the sampling direction of the map. The value ranges from 0 to 360.
Sphere configuration: The style parameters for the sphere in the 3D city builder.
Parameter
Description
Sphere switch
Turn on the switch to display the sphere style configuration. Turn off the switch to hide the sphere style configuration.
Sphere subdivision
Sets the precision that determines the geometric calculation error for the globe's surface (terrain). You can select Performance mode, Quality mode, or Balanced mode. Performance mode has the lowest overhead but produces the lowest quality results. Quality mode has the highest overhead but produces the highest quality results. The default is Balanced mode.
Atmosphere layer
The style of the sphere's atmosphere layer. This mainly sets the sky style, including a switch to control the sky style, the intensity of aerial perspective, the intensity of atmospheric scattering, and the sky's background map style.
Default sphere material
Sets the style of the default sphere material. You can adjust the material's color, color map style, metalness value, metalness map style, roughness value, roughness map style, emissive color, emissive map style, bumpiness value, and bump map style.
Post-processing configuration: The style parameters for the Post-processing configuration in the 3D city builder.
Parameter
Description
Screen percentage
Drag the slider to adjust the post-processing screen percentage. The value ranges from 0.25 to 2.
Anti-aliasing type
The type of anti-aliasing for the post-processing style. You can select taa or fxaa.
TAA anti-aliasing
Drag the slider to adjust the values for Luminance delta threshold, Temporal blend factor, and Color gamut scaling factor. This is configurable only when Anti-aliasing type is set to taa.
AO shadow
Turn on the switch to configure the AO shadow post-processing effect. You can adjust the values for AO shadow offset, AO intensity, sharpness, AO radius, and blur intensity. Turn off the switch to disable this effect.
Screen space reflection
Turn on the switch to configure the screen space reflection post-processing effect. You can adjust the values for the number of ray marching steps, ray marching range, ray marching step size coefficient, and blur. Turn off the switch to disable this effect.
Bloom
Turn on the switch to configure the bloom post-processing effect. You can control the bloom mode, brightness threshold, smoothing, scattering coefficient, and intensity. Turn off the switch to disable this effect.
Image quality adjustment
Configure the color grading post-processing effect within image quality adjustment. You can adjust the color's exposure, contrast, hue, saturation, and color filter.
