Answers to common billing questions about Dedicated Host (DDH).
Do I need to pay for ECS instances running on a dedicated host?
No. The vCPU, memory, and local storage of ECS instances on a DDH are included in the dedicated host price — you are not charged separately for them. However, the following resources on each ECS instance are still billed independently:
Cloud disks
Public bandwidth
Images
Snapshots
For a full breakdown, see Billing overview.
How do I check the traffic usage of an ECS instance on a dedicated host?
The steps differ depending on whether the ECS instance uses a static public IP address or an Elastic IP address (EIP).
Static public IP address

What happens when a dedicated host expires or my account has overdue payments?
Expired dedicated host: The dedicated host and all ECS instances on it are automatically stopped. To resume using them, renew the dedicated host. For billing details, see Dedicated host billing.
Overdue payments: Your account is suspended. Submit a ticket and settle the outstanding balance to restore access.
If your account has an overdue payment, you must add funds to your account to continue using the service.
