Batch manage records

Prerequisites

The target domains are added to your Alibaba Cloud DNS zone list. If a domain is not in the list, batch operations on its records will fail.

Batch modify records

Specify original and replacement values for host records and record values. Alibaba Cloud DNS updates all matching records across the selected domains.

Procedure

1. Log on to Alibaba Cloud DNS – Public Zone.

2. Click Batch Operation. By default, the Domain Name > Add Zones tab opens.

3. On the Batch Operation page, click Domain Records > Manage DNS Records. Then select Batch Modify DNS Records.

4. Enter the domain names, one per line.

5. Set the match criteria and replacement values for host records and record values:

   • Click + to add more match conditions.

   • Choose whether to match Match Any Condition or Match All Conditions.

6. Click OK. All matching DNS records are updated.

Batch delete records

Specify deletion criteria to permanently remove matching DNS records across multiple domains.

Procedure

1. Log on to Alibaba Cloud DNS – Public Zone.

2. Click Batch Operation. By default, the Domain Name > Add Zones tab opens.

3. On the Batch Operation page, click Domain Records > Manage DNS Records. Then select Batch Delete DNS Records.

4. Enter the domain names, one per line.

5. Specify deletion criteria for host records or record values:

   • Click + to add more criteria.

   • Choose whether to match Match Any Condition or Match All Conditions.

   • You can also delete all DNS records for a domain and its subdomains.

6. Click OK. All matching DNS records are permanently deleted.
