The first step to using the IoT Platform is to create a project. Data is isolated between projects. You can create different projects for different customers or grant permissions for a project to another Alibaba Cloud account. This makes it easier for multiple parties to collaborate or for an operations hub to deliver projects independently.
Procedure
- Log on to the IoT Platform console.
- Click Create New Project.
- Set the project name, and set Project Type to OEM Project.
The following figure shows a sample configuration. Set the project name to your customer's name to make the project easier to identify for future forwarding, authorization, or statistical analysis.
- Click OK.After the project is created, you are automatically redirected to the project homepage.
