After you enable Cloud Config, a resource list aggregates all resources from your account across regions. You can use this list to view detailed information for each resource.

Background

The resource list includes only the cloud services and resource types that Cloud Config supports. For more information, see Supported resource types and relationships in Cloud Config.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Cloud Config console.

  2. Optional. In the upper-left corner, select an account group.

This operation is required only if you are using a management account of a resource directory. Otherwise, you do not need to perform the operation.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Resources > Global Resources.

The Global Resources page lists the following information for your resources.

    Parameter

    Description

    Resource ID / Name

The unique identifier of a resource.

    Resource Type

The category of a resource, such as an ECS instance or an OSS bucket.

    Tags

The tags attached to the resource. This field is empty if no tags are attached.

    Owner

The name and ID of the resource's owner account.

    Note

This parameter is displayed only for a management account on the target account group tab.

    Region

The region where the resource is located. For example, China (Hangzhou).

    Resource Status

The status of the resource in Cloud Config. Valid values:

    • Enabled

A resource is Enabled when it is under normal management. By default, the resource list displays Enabled resources.

    • Deleted

A resource is marked as Deleted after it is removed. You can use filters to view Deleted resources.

    Compliance Result

The compliance status of the resource. Possible values are: Compliant, Non-compliant, Not Applicable, and Ignored.

    • Compliant: The resource meets all relevant policy and best practice requirements.

    • Non-compliant: The resource does not meet the configuration requirements of one or more rules. This status can indicate misconfigurations, potential risks, or areas for optimization. You can take action based on your specific business needs.

    • Not Applicable: A rule's conditions do not match the resource's type or properties, so Cloud Config does not evaluate the rule against this resource.

    • Ignored: A user has manually ignored the compliance result for this resource.

    Created At

The creation time of the resource.

    Actions

The operations that you can perform on the resource.

Click Manage in the Actions column for the target resource. This action redirects you to the resource's management page in its native cloud service console.

    Note

This action is available only when the Resource Status is Enabled.
