This topic describes the usage scenarios for the Filing Service API.
According to the Administrative Measures on Internet Information Services and the Administrative Measures on the Filing of Non-commercial Internet Information Services, China requires a filing system for non-commercial Internet Information Services and a licensing system for commercial ones. You cannot provide Internet Information Services without a license or a completed filing. This means all websites that provide services to the Chinese mainland must complete an ICP filing before they can be activated.
Therefore, you can call the Filing Service API to generate a service identification number. Use this number to complete the ICP filing on the Alibaba Cloud Filing Service platform. If the account for the ICP filing is different from the account that generated the service identification number, you must also call the authorization API to complete the cross-account authorization flow.
Additionally, you can call the Filing Service API to query the account and product information associated with a service identification number, or to retrieve the service identification number for a specific account and product.
