When you use Cloud Toolkit to deploy applications to the cloud, Cloud Toolkit calls Alibaba Cloud APIs. These API calls require an AccessKey pair for identity verification. This topic describes how to obtain an AccessKey pair.
Background information
An AccessKey pair includes an AccessKey ID and an AccessKey secret.
- AccessKey ID: Used to identify a user.
- AccessKey secret: Used to authenticate a user's identity. Keep your AccessKey secret confidential.
Warning If the AccessKey pair of your Alibaba Cloud account is leaked, all resources in your account are at risk. For improved security, use an AccessKey pair that belongs to a Resource Access Management (RAM) user instead of the AccessKey pair of your Alibaba Cloud account.
