Cloud Config monitors all supported resource types in your Alibaba Cloud account by default and automatically scans all resources during initialization. If you use other monitoring solutions, you can specify which resource types to monitor.

You can specify a monitoring scope only for a standard account, not for a management account or member accounts in an account group.

Cloud Config supports auditing for a specific set of resource types, and more resource types are continuously added. For information about supported resource types, see Supported resource types and relationships in Cloud Config.
Procedure

Log on to the Cloud Config console.

In the navigation pane on the left, click Settings.

On the Monitoring Scope tab, click Modify Configuration.

You can select the resource types to monitor.

If you select All Supported Resource Types, when a new Alibaba Cloud service is supported by Cloud Config, the service is automatically added to the monitoring scope.

If you select Custom Resource Types, you can select specific resource types.

Click OK.
