Open Data Access Trusted Service (ODATS) is a service from Ant Blockchain that enables trusted data interaction between homogeneous and heterogeneous blockchains for enterprise applications.

ODATS is a proprietary cross-chain technology with over 30 patents. Built on Ant Blockchain technology, ODATS defines a standardized Universal Data Access Gateway (UDAG) full-stack cross-chain protocol. This protocol ensures that cross-chain transactions are secure, scalable, and reliable. ODATS breaks down blockchain data silos and enables trusted communication between different types of chains. This helps enterprises collaborate and integrate their industrial ecosystems.

Cross-chain service invocation path

To use ODATS, register a blockchain with the service and install the cross-chain contract. Business contracts can then interact with the cross-chain contract to exchange information between chains.

Data interaction methods

ODATS supports two data interaction methods:

Ledger data access: The destination blockchain can directly access data on the source blockchain through the cross-chain service.
Contract message push: The source blockchain can send a message to a smart contract on the destination blockchain through the cross-chain service. The smart contract on the destination chain then processes the message.
