Scenarios
Trusted cross-chain forensics
Trusted data deposition is a widely implemented blockchain scenario. However, each chain creates a data silo. Cross-chain interactions at the application layer make it difficult to ensure data authenticity, and adapting the application layer for different chains is costly. Finding a low-cost way to reliably transfer information across chains has become a critical challenge. In data deposition scenarios, such as for contracts and copyrights, a judicial blockchain can resolve disputes. It uses cross-chain services to reliably obtain evidence from other chains. This process ensures the authenticity of the evidence, improves collection efficiency, and reduces legal costs.
Collaborative traceability
Single-chain traceability is limited by the members of its consortium, which makes it difficult to track a product through its entire lifecycle. A key challenge is to maintain data authenticity during cross-chain transfers. This allows manufacturers and customers to view a product's full lifecycle information. Producers, processors, suppliers, and buyers create their own blockchain traceability platforms and use the ODATS service to securely transfer data between blockchains. This process tracks product information throughout its lifecycle, ensures product quality, and helps target customer groups more precisely.
