This topic describes how to use Cloud Toolkit to upload and download files on a remote server to improve your development efficiency.
Prerequisites
- Download and install JDK 1.8 or later.
- Cloud Toolkit is installed and configured. For more information, see Install and configure Cloud Toolkit in IntelliJ IDEA.
Procedure
- In the IntelliJ IDEA menu bar, choose .
- In the Host list, choose Remote Files from the Action column.
- You can refresh the file list, and upload or download files on the remote server.
Feature Description Refresh Right-click a folder and select Refresh. The file directory automatically refreshes. Upload Right-click a folder and select Upload. In the Select Path dialog box that appears, select the files to upload, and then click OK. Download Right-click a folder or a specific file and select Download. In the Select Path dialog box that appears, select a destination path for the download, and then click OK.
Note This feature is available only for servers in the Host and Alibaba Cloud ECS lists. The server must have a public IP address.
