View monitoring and alerts on the Alibaba Cloud app

View metric alerts

You can view alerts triggered by Cloud Monitor in the Alibaba Cloud app. You can use the alert information to quickly find and fix problems, such as restarting an instance, extending storage, or submitting a ticket. You can also perform these common Operations and Maintenance (O&M) operations directly from the app.

Prerequisites: Make sure you have created an alert rule in the console and an alert has been triggered. For more information, see Create an alert rule.

1. Open the Alibaba Cloud app and tap the Console tab at the bottom.

2. In the Pending Events area, tap Alerting.

3. On the Monitoring Alerts page, prioritize higher-level alerts. At the top of the page, tap the Alert History or Insufficient Data tab to view details.

4. Tap the name of an alert to view the resource that triggered it. Tap the resource to view the Alert Details.

View event alerts

The event monitoring feature in the Alibaba Cloud app provides a centralized place to query and view statistics. This helps you understand the status of your cloud products and receive alert notifications. You can quickly analyze and locate problems when a business failure occurs. In the console, you can set alert rules for system events or custom events to receive notifications on the Alibaba Cloud app when an abnormality occurs.

Prerequisites: Make sure you have created an event-triggered alert rule in the console and an alert has been triggered. For more information, see Manage event subscriptions (recommended).

1. Open the Alibaba Cloud app and tap the Console tab at the bottom. In the Pending Events area, tap All.

2. Tap Critical Events or Warning Events to open the Event Monitoring page. On this page, you can also select other events.

   Name	Description
   Urgent Renewals	Shows the total number of resources under the current account that will expire within 15 days. Expand the section to view details and renew the resources.
   Pending Tickets	Shows the total number of tickets in progress under the current account. Expand the section to reply to tickets, submit new tickets, view tickets that are pending evaluation, or view all tickets.

3. At the top of the page, select the event type, product, event level, and time range.

4. Tap an event name to open the Event Details page, where you can view the event level, status, region, time, and content.

View security alerts

The Alibaba Cloud app lets you view the total number of vulnerabilities, their levels, impact scope, and details for all resources in your account, such as hosts and applications. You can use this information to quickly locate and fix vulnerabilities to reduce potential threats.

1. Open the Alibaba Cloud app and tap the Console tab at the bottom. In the Pending Events area, tap Vulnerabilities Found to view the number of existing vulnerabilities and security alerts.

2. Tap Fix Now to open the Security Alerts page. On this page, you can view vulnerability details and issues that need to be fixed.
