AIoT Innovation Factory is a platform for service providers and manufacturers to develop customized value-added software services for products. These services are then available on the Tmall Genie app and smart speakers with screens. You can use AIoT Innovation Factory to develop Internet of Things (IoT) products with enhanced features and an improved user experience.

Differences from IoT Platform

IoT Platform is primarily a platform for connecting hardware products. In contrast, AIoT Innovation Factory is a software business solution platform built on IoT Platform that lets you develop additional features. The server-side is deployed in a Software as a Service (SaaS) cloud environment. The platform's standard services allow for seamless integration with Tmall Genie smart speakers, the Tmall Genie app, and mini programs. This enables end-to-end custom development in the Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) field. The endpoint for the SaaS platform is: https://iot.aligenie.com/saas/application.

Note You can use IoT Platform to connect products. AIoT Innovation Factory is not required for basic device control or status display. For product categories that require rich business features, custom services, or new interfaces, you can use AIoT Innovation Factory. Applications created in AIoT Innovation Factory can be used and tested with products on IoT Platform, both during development and after release. If a product uses an application, you must publish the application before you publish the product.

Differences from IoT Platform

AIoT Innovation Factory architecture
