You can restore data from a backup to a new ApsaraDB MyBase for MySQL instance. This topic describes the restoration process.
Prerequisites
The source instance must meet the following requirements:

The instance is running and is not locked.

No migration tasks are in progress on the instance.

If you want to perform a point-in-time restore, log backup must be enabled.
Procedure

Log on to the ApsaraDB for MyBase console.

In the upper-left corner of the Dedicated Clusters page, select the target region.

In the navigation pane on the left, click Dedicated Clusters. Find the target dedicated cluster and click Details in the Actions column.

On the details page of the dedicated cluster, click Instances in the navigation pane on the left. You can restore data in one of the following ways:

Find the target instance and in the Actions column, choose .

Find the target instance, click Details in the Actions column, and then click Backup and Restoration on the page that appears.

Scenario 1: The ApsaraDB MyBase for MySQL instance uses a local SSD. On the Backup and Restoration page, find the target backup set, click the
icon in the Actions column, and then choose Restore. -
Scenario 2: The ApsaraDB MyBase for MySQL instance uses an enhanced SSD (ESSD). On the Backup and Restoration page, find the target backup set and click Restore in the Actions column.

On the Restore Database page, configure the following parameters:
Parameter
Description
vSwitch
The vSwitch for the new instance. If no vSwitch is available, follow the on-screen instructions to create one.
Restore Mode

By Time: Restores the instance to a specific point in time, accurate to the second. This option is available only within the log backup retention period. To view or modify this period, see Automatic backup.

By Backup Set: Restores the instance from a selected backup set.
Restore Point
If you select By Time for Restore Mode, you must specify a restore point.
By Backup Set
If you select By Backup Set for Restore Mode, you must select a backup set.
Instance Type
The instance type for the new instance.
Storage Capacity
The storage capacity for the new instance.
