You can restart an instance to resolve issues such as exhausted connection limits or poor performance.
Prerequisites
You have created an ApsaraDB for MyBase instance for MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL, and the instance is in the Running state. For more information, see the following topics:
Impact
Restarting an instance causes a connection interruption of about 30 seconds. Ensure your application has an automatic reconnection mechanism, and plan the restart carefully to minimize business impact.
Procedure
Log on to the ApsaraDB for MyBase console.
In the upper-left corner of the page, select the target region.
In the navigation pane on the left, expand Instances and select the database engine. Find the target instance and, in the Actions column, click Details. You can then restart the instance by using one of the following methods:
In the upper-right corner of the page, click Restart Instance.
In the navigation pane on the left, click Service Availability. Hover over the target instance and click Restart.
NoteThis method is available only for ApsaraDB for MyBase MySQL Master-replica Edition instances.
In the confirmation dialog box, click OK.
ImportantAfter the instance restarts, its status changes to Restarted. This causes a transient connection interruption.
In the verification dialog box, enter the code sent to your mobile phone.
