Compliance library

Procedure

1. Log on to the Cloud Config console.

2. Optional. In the upper-left corner, select an account group.

   This operation is required only if you are using a management account of a resource directory. Otherwise, you do not need to perform the operation.

3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Compliance & Audit > Library.

4. On the Library page, view the Package Template Library, Rule Template Library, and Remediation Template Library.

   Package template library

   Cloud Config provides compliance package templates for various scenarios. Overview.

   Click Details in the lower-right corner of a compliance package template to open the details panel:

   • View the template category, number of included rules, and rule details.

   • Click Enable to create a compliance package from this template.

   Rule template library

   A rule template is a Cloud Config rule built on Function Compute. Rule template list.

   On the Rule Template Library tab:

   • View all available rule templates.

   • Click Details in the Actions column of a rule template to view its Properties, Rule Template Parameters, and Remediation Templates.

   • Click Enable in the Actions column of a rule template to create a rule from the template.

     Create a rule based on a managed rule.

   Remediation template library

   Remediation templates are public Operation Orchestration Service (OOS) templates that Cloud Config uses to fix non-compliant resources. Overview.

   On the Remediation Template Library tab:

   • View all available remediation templates.

   • Click Details in the Actions column of a remediation template to view its Properties and Rule Template List.

   • Click More configurations in the Actions column of a remediation template.
