Storage capacity limit
After a cluster instance is created, you can increase its storage capacity. The following limits apply:
Cluster instances with 32 or fewer CPU cores support a maximum storage capacity of 64 TB.
Cluster instances with more than 32 CPU cores support a maximum storage capacity of 128 TB.
Specification type description
ApsaraDB for OceanBase supports two types of node specifications: General-purpose and Dedicated.
Specification type | Description | Scenarios |
General-purpose |
| Application scenarios that have low requirements for performance and throughput. |
Dedicated |
| Databases for core business systems, such as finance, securities, e-commerce, gaming, and medium-to-large Internet businesses. These scenarios require high database performance and stability. |
Pricing
Prices vary by specification type. For more information, see Billable methods by node specification.
Limits
You can purchase General-purpose cluster instances in some regions. This option is currently available for the Standard Edition (Cloud Disk) series in the China (Zhangjiakou) region. Support for more regions will be added in the future. To try or purchase this service, contact ApsaraDB for OceanBase technical support.
