Overdue payments
Overdue payments can lead to service suspension. The system sends you reminders and notifications. Renew your service promptly to avoid service disruptions. This topic describes overdue payments for MyBase clusters and how to check your outstanding balance.
Description of overdue payments
Category | Overdue Payments |
MyBase cluster with an overdue payment | If your account balance is insufficient to cover your MyBase bill, your MyBase Community Edition cluster will have an overdue payment. You cannot manage the cluster from the console or use the MyBase OpenAPI service. However, your database instances will continue to run. |
ACK with an overdue payment | If your ACK cluster has an overdue payment, you cannot access its API Server. If the payment is overdue for more than 15 days, the ACK cluster is released. For more information, see ACK Overdue Payments. When an ACK cluster is released, the MyBase database instances running on it are deleted. To ensure your database instances run properly and to prevent data loss, make sure your ACK cluster does not have an overdue payment. |
ECS with an overdue payment | If an ECS instance has an overdue payment for more than 15 days, the instance is released. For more information, see Overdue payments. The database instances running on the ECS host are deleted when the host is released, which causes data loss. To ensure your database instances run properly, make sure your ECS instances do not have overdue payments. |
To ensure that your MyBase Community Edition cluster instances run correctly, make sure that your ACK clusters and ECS instances do not have overdue payments.
Alibaba Cloud provides service suspension protection. This lets you continue using pay-as-you-go resources for a specific period or within a certain quota after a payment becomes overdue. Billing continues normally during the protection period. For more information, see Service suspension protection.
Check your outstanding balance
Log on to Expenses and Costs.
On the home page, in the Overview section, view the Total Amount Due. This amount is your outstanding balance.
