Request an endpoint

Updated at:

This topic describes how to request an endpoint for a MyBase instance.

Procedure

MyBase on ACK instances

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for MyBase console.

  2. In the upper-left corner of the console, select a region. Find the cluster that you want to manage and click the cluster ID to go to the cluster management page.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Instances.

  4. Find the instance that you want to manage and click the instance ID to go to the Basic Information tab of the instance.

  5. In the Database Connection section, click Enable next to Public Endpoint or Private Endpoint on the card for the destination node.

  6. In the Enable Public/Private Endpoint pane, select a Network Type.

  7. Select LoadBalancer Mode and follow the on-screen instructions.

  8. Click OK.

MyBase on ECS instances

  • You do not need to request an internal endpoint or port for a MyBase on ECS instance.

  • To connect to the database over the public network, enable Mount Public Network when you create the instance. If a public endpoint was not enabled during creation, attach an elastic IP address (EIP) to the instance. For more information, see Request an EIP.
