TG7100B flash upgrade PCN
This Product Change Notification (PCN) announces an upgrade to the flash component in the TG7100B chip. This change is due to an End-of-Life (EOL) notice from the current flash supplier. All TG7100B units will transition to a new flash component from a new supplier. All other parts of the chip are unchanged, and the PN model is unaffected.

Chip verification
The hardware and SDK for the chip with the new flash component have passed all internal verification.
Upgrade plan
This upgrade only affects the flash component. No changes are required to customer hardware designs.
The flash update includes the following changes:
The flash version is updated.
Flash data read time remains unchanged, while data write time doubles.
The SDK's underlying driver requires no modifications.
The new flash chip is identifiable by its silkscreen:
The third line of the chip silkscreen is updated to include the characters "PD".
