Free Alibaba Cloud Mail from DingTalk: Service disruption from failed real-name verification
If you received the following SMS message, the free period for your Alibaba Cloud Mail service (xxx.onaliyun.com) did not extend automatically. This is because the associated Alibaba Cloud account has not completed real-name verification. To keep your service active, complete this verification. After you do, the free period extends automatically.
The account dingmailorg_167b4e71b4ad6***@dingtalk.com is an Alibaba Cloud account automatically generated when you signed up for the free Alibaba Cloud Mail service with an xxx.onaliyun.com domain. Registration for this type of account is no longer supported.
Follow the steps below to reset your Alibaba Cloud account password and complete the real-name verification.

The automatic renewal for your Alibaba Cloud Mail service (ID: LX23380ca0bdbb40a7917298ba9363d***) failed because your Alibaba Cloud account has not completed real-name verification. Your service will expire on 2024-09-07 00:00:00. To prevent your email service from being automatically released 30 days after expiration, please go to the Alibaba Cloud Account Center as soon as possible to complete your account's real-name verification and process the renewal. How to complete real-name verification
1. Use your account name, dingmailorg_167b4e71b4ad6***@dingtalk.com, to reset your password in the Alibaba Cloud console.

2. After signing in, complete real-name verification in the Alibaba Cloud console.

If the certified enterprise is deregistered or renamed, update your identity verification information
If your Alibaba Cloud account has completed identity verification, but the certified enterprise has since been deregistered or renamed, you must update your identity verification information. Otherwise, the automatic renewal of the free mail service fails.
To update your information: sign in to your Alibaba Cloud account, go to Account Center, and in the My Entities section, click Change Verifier.
After the update, the system automatically detects the change and renews the free mail service.
