After you create a dashboard, add charts to it. Customize the chart types and metrics to display your data. This topic describes how to add a chart and configure its type and metrics.

Procedure

Log on to the EMAS console. Select Application Monitoring and click Enter to open the Application Monitoring console.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose Application Monitoring > Multidimensional Analysis.
On the Multi-dimensional Analysis page, select a dashboard and click Edit.
On the dashboard page, click + Add Chart in the upper-right corner to configure custom chart types and metrics for the dashboard.
Note
- You can add multiple charts.
- You can manage charts. For more information, see Manage charts.

Trend graph configuration

Parameter		Description
Chart name		The custom name of the chart.
Select chart type		Trend chart.
Decimal places		The number of decimal places. The default is 2.
Y-axis threshold		The range of the y-axis, including the maximum and minimum thresholds.
Legend field		A table appears below the custom chart. It shows information that matches the filter conditions. By default, the table fields include average value, maximum, minimum, and current value. All fields are selected by default. Clear the check boxes for the fields you do not need.
Icon metrics	Metric type	Customize chart metrics. Filter by metric type, metric, aggregation method, and statistical dimension. Note You can add multiple metrics. To add a metric, click Add Metric. You can add multiple metrics, but only one can be displayed at a time. Use the icon to control visibility.
	Metric	Select the metrics to query. You can add multiple metrics. For more information, see Metric description.
	Aggregation method	For some metrics, the statistical types are COUNT and COUNTDISTINCT. For time-consuming metrics, you can configure statistical value types such as AVG and PCT50. Statistical methods and descriptions: COUNT: Counts the number of data points based on the time granularity. COUNTDISTINCT: Calculates the sum within the time granularity and then removes duplicates based on the device ID (DID). AVG: The sum of metric values within the time granularity divided by the sample size. PCT1: The value at the 1st percentile after the data is sorted in ascending order. PCT5: The value at the 5th percentile after the data is sorted in ascending order. PCT25: The value at the 25th percentile after the data is sorted in ascending order. PCT50: The value at the 50th percentile after the data is sorted in ascending order. PCT75: The value at the 75th percentile after the data is sorted in ascending order. PCT90: The value at the 90th percentile after the data is sorted in ascending order. PCT99: The value at the 99th percentile after the data is sorted in ascending order.
	Statistical dimension	Configure statistical dimensions for the metric. You can add multiple dimensions. The trend chart groups the data by the selected dimensions.
Filter conditions	Filter dimension	Add filter conditions to the custom metrics. You can filter by dimension, inclusion or exclusion, and the categories within a dimension. Note You can add multiple metrics. To add a metric, click Add Metric. If you add multiple filter conditions, specify the relationship between them as AND or OR.
Filter conditions	Filter condition	Configure filter conditions for the metric. The filter methods are: Contains and Does not contain.
Mark		Add marks to the trend chart. You can add a marked line or a marked area and give it a name. You can add multiple marks.
Basic operations		Supports basic operations: +, -, *, and /. Use an English keyboard layout.

Configure a number card

Parameter		Description
Chart name		The custom name of the chart.
Chart type		Number card.
Decimal places		The number of decimal places. The default is 2.
Unit		Configure the unit for the final displayed value. For example, set the unit for FPS to s (seconds).
Chart metrics	Metric type	Customize chart metrics. Filter by metric type, metric, aggregation method, and statistical dimension. Note You can add multiple metrics. To add a metric, click Add Metric. You can add multiple metrics, but only one can be displayed at a time. Use the icon to control visibility.

Sorting		Select a metric type, sort the data in ascending or descending order, and display the top results. By default, the top 10 results are shown.
Group		Add groups for the metric. The table chart groups the data by the selected dimensions.
