Certification purchase and exam guide

Instructions

• Directly purchasing an exam is available only for Clouder and ACA certifications. Purchasing an authorization code to redeem an exam is available for Clouder, ACA, ACP, and ACE certifications.

• Purchase accounts

  • Individual account (Recommended): Allows individual users to purchase certifications or authorization codes. Only the purchaser is eligible to take the exam.

  • Enterprise account: Allows you to purchase authorization codes in batches and assign them to your employees. Employees must log on to their personal Alibaba Cloud accounts that have completed identity verification. They can then use the assigned authorization codes to redeem a certification and register for the exam. For more information, see Guide to purchasing an authorization code and taking an exam.

• Eligibility requirements

  • Account requirements: You must use a personal Alibaba Cloud account that has completed identity verification.

    Important

    When employees register for a certification exam, they must use their personal Alibaba Cloud accounts that have completed identity verification. Do not use RAM users assigned by the enterprise.

  • ID requirements: You can use any of the following IDs to take the exam.

    • Resident Identity Card of the People's Republic of China

    • Permanent residence permit for residents of Hong Kong (China), Macao (China), and Taiwan (China)

    • Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card

    • Passport

  • Experience requirements: There are no restrictions on age, education, major, or work experience. The difficulty of the certifications increases from Clouder to ACA, ACP, and ACE. We recommend that you have relevant practical experience before you take an exam.

Purchase a certification

1. Log on to Alibaba Cloud Certification.

2. Select the desired certification and click its name. On the certification page, click Buy Now.

3. On the purchase page, confirm your selected certification. Click Buy Now and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the payment. To purchase multiple certifications at once, click Add to Cart and complete the purchase from your shopping cart.

4. On the Payment Successful page, click Go to My Certifications. You will be redirected to the tab for that certification type. On this page, you can view the certification requirements.

   Note

   A certification is valid for one year from the date of purchase. On the My Certifications page, you can view the expiration date for your certification.

View purchased certifications

1. Log on to Alibaba Cloud Certification.

2. In the upper-right corner, choose Personal Center > My Certifications. On the My Certifications page, you can view your purchased certifications.

Take a certification exam

1. Log on to Alibaba Cloud Certification.

2. In the upper-right corner, choose Personal Center > My Certifications. On the My Certifications page, find your purchased certification and click Start Exam. After you pass the exam, you can claim your certificate from the upper-right corner of the page.

   Alternatively, on the certification page, go to the Certification Exam section and click Start Exam.

Check your score

1. Log on to Alibaba Cloud Certification.

2. In the upper-right corner, choose Personal Center > My Certifications. Find the desired certification and view your exam score. If you pass the exam, you can claim your certificate. If you do not pass the exam, you can purchase the certification again to retake the exam.

Download your certificate

1. Log on to Alibaba Cloud Certification.

2. In the upper-right corner, choose Personal Center > My Certifications. Find the corresponding certification and click View Certificate in its upper-right corner. Follow the on-screen instructions to enter your information and download the digital certificate.

   Important

   After successful authentication, we recommend that you promptly download and save the electronic certificate.
