Problem
Sending an email through Alibaba Mail fails with the following bounce message:
(13)ESO_LOCAL_SPAM: spammed by local spam engine
The anti-spam system classified the email as spam and blocked its delivery.Cause
The local anti-spam system classified your email as spam.
Keywords in the subject or body triggered an anti-spam rule.
Alibaba Mail supports regular business and personal communication only. It does not support bulk emails such as system notifications, registration confirmations, event invitations, or monitoring alerts. For bulk sending, use Alibaba Cloud Direct Mail.
Solution
Review your email for spam-like content.
1. If your email contains marketing or promotional content, revise it and resend.
2. If your email is not marketing-related, forward the bounce message as an attachment to antispam_fankui@alibaba-inc.com. Our technical specialists will review and respond with their analysis.
a. Log in to Alibaba Mail Webmail.
b. Select the bounce message, right-click in the email content area, and choose Forward as Attachment. Alternatively, click Download Email and attach the file to a new message.
c. Set the To field to antispam_fankui@alibaba-inc.com and describe the purpose of the original email in the body.
