Add members to a static mail group
Add member accounts to a static mail group after you create the group. The method that you use depends on whether you add a whole department, a single account, or a batch of accounts from an import file.
Prerequisites
Static mail group — Create the static mail group before you add members to it.
Dynamic mail group — To add the mail group of a department, that department must already have a dynamic mail group. This requirement applies only when you add members from the address book.
Methods for adding members
The three methods are alternatives. Use the following table to select the one that matches your scenario, and then complete only that method in the procedure.
| Method | Use this method when |
| Add from Address Book | You add the mail group of a department, or all accounts in a department. |
| Add Manually | You add a single account and can search for it by account name. |
| Import Members | You add multiple accounts at a time from an import file. |
Procedure
In the mail group list, click Member Management to go to the mail group member management page.

Add members to the mail group by using one of the following methods. Complete only the method that matches your scenario.

Add from Address Book — Click Add from Address Book. In the Employee Account List, click the mailbox icon next to a department to add the mail group of that department, or click the address book icon next to a department to add all accounts in that department. Then click Confirm. For the dynamic mail group requirement, see the Prerequisites section.

Add Manually — Click Add Manually, enter a keyword of the email account, select the matched email account name, and then click Confirm.

Import Members — After you edit the import file as required, click Import Members, select the import file to upload, click Open, and then click Confirm.

On the mail group list page, verify that the number in the Group Name column includes the members that you added. The number, such as 3/10000, shows the current number of member accounts in the group. In this example, the group has 3 member accounts.
