1. The migration from Yahoo Mail to Alibaba Cloud Mail applies only to mailboxes with the @yahoo.com.cn and @yahoo.cn suffixes. For issues related to @yahoo.com mailboxes, contact Yahoo.
2. The full migration of China Yahoo Mail started on April 18, 2013. If you completed the migration process on the migration page at that time, you received a free personal mailbox from Alibaba Cloud.
3. The China Yahoo Mail service was discontinued on August 19, 2013.
4. Alibaba Cloud Mail continued to receive emails sent to your former Yahoo mailbox until December 31, 2014. After this date, email forwarding was discontinued. However, your Alibaba Cloud mailbox remains active and can be used normally.
5. During the migration, you set the username and password for your new Alibaba Cloud mailbox. You could choose to keep your original Yahoo username or create a new one.
6. If you did not migrate your account, your Yahoo mailbox is no longer accessible. You do not have a corresponding Alibaba Cloud mailbox, and all emails in your original Yahoo mailbox have been deleted.
7. How do I recover my password if I have forgotten it?
(1) For personal mailboxes migrated from China Yahoo Mail to Alibaba Cloud: To change your mobile phone number or recover your account when mobile phone recovery is not an option, the account owner must submit a signed request. The request must include details of two to three previously sent emails, such as the subject, recipient, and approximate sending time. Email this request to alimail_voc@alibaba-inc.com. Note that we cannot provide further assistance if you cannot provide this email history.
(2) For personal mailboxes registered through mail.aliyun.com: To recover your account, reset your password, change your mobile phone number, or provide feedback about your free Alibaba Cloud personal mailbox, send an email to alimail_voc@alibaba-inc.com. We process these requests regularly and use the feedback to improve our Help Center.
