Emails sent from a third-party client may not appear in the Webmail Sent folder due to protocol or saving rule settings.
Causes
-
A non-default Save to Sent rule is configured in your mailbox settings.
-
Third-party clients using POP sync only the inbox with Webmail, not the Sent folder. Back up emails locally if you use POP.
-
Third-party clients using IMAP or the Alibaba Mail client sync both incoming and outgoing emails by default.
POP does not sync sent emails to Webmail. To recover historical sent emails, export them from your local client and import them into the Sent folder using IMAP. They will then sync to Webmail automatically.
Solutions
Use IMAP, the Alibaba Mail client, or Webmail for full sent-email sync. Verify the Save to Sent rule in Webmail settings.
1. Log on to Webmail and go to Mailbox Settings.

2. Go to Mailbox Settings > Receiving and Sending and select the appropriate Save to Sent option.
