Quick Start
This topic describes how to create a TSDB for InfluxDB® instance.
Prerequisites
You have registered an Alibaba Cloud account and completed identity verification.
You have a virtual private cloud (VPC). For more information, see Create a VPC.
Procedure
Log on to the TSDB console.
On the Instance List page, click Create.
On the instance purchase page, configure the following parameters and click Buy Now.
Parameter
Description
Product Type
The default value is InfluxDB®.
Storage Class
The storage type of the instance. The supported storage types are PL1 ESSD, Standard SSD, and Ultra Disk.
Region and Zone
The region where the instance resides.
Zone
The zone where the instance resides.
Network Type
The default value is VPC.
VPC
Select a VPC in the current zone.
vSwitch
Select a vSwitch.
Instance Type
Select the edition of the instance that you want to create. Currently, Standalone Standard Edition (Basic Edition) and High-availability Edition are supported.
Specifications
The specifications of the instance.
Storage Capacity
The storage capacity of the instance.
Instance Name
Enter a custom name for the instance.
Quantity
The number of instances to purchase.
Duration
The subscription duration for the instance. You can check Auto-renewal to prevent the instance from being released due to a forgotten renewal.
On the Confirm Order page, confirm the parameter settings, agree to the Terms of Service, and click Pay.
After the purchase is complete, go to the Instance List page and click Manage to view information about the new instance.
