What is a trusted device?
If you often use a device, such as your work computer, to log on to Alibaba Mail, you can add it as a trusted device.
1. Logons from a trusted device do not require phone or security question authentication.
2. Unusual logons from a trusted device do not trigger unusual logon alerts.
The trusted device status is specific to the browser. Subsequent logons from the trusted browser do not require two-factor authentication.
The trusted device status is removed if you clear the browser cache or switch to a different browser.
Set a trusted device
1. During logon, after you complete phone authentication, select Set as trusted device and skip future verification.
2. Log on to the Alibaba Mail web client. By default, administrator accounts are directed to the domain management interface. Click the Enter Mailbox button at the top to go to the mailbox interface. Navigate to Settings > Account and Security > Device Management to grant trust to previously used devices.
Cancel a trusted device
Log on to the Alibaba Mail web client. By default, administrator accounts are directed to the domain management interface. Click the Enter Mailbox button at the top to go to the mailbox interface. Navigate to Settings > Account and Security > Device Management, and then click Cancel Trust.
