Procedure to close an Alibaba Cloud free personal mailbox

Close your account through self-service

Log on to the web-based mailbox. Go to Settings > Account and Security > Account Security > Close Account.

Request manual account closure

1. Log in to your current email account and send an email to alimail_voc@alibaba-inc.com in the following format to cancel your account.

Subject: Close personal mailbox xxx@aliyun.com

Attachment: Attach a photo of your hand-signed consent form with the following text:

I agree to close my Alibaba Cloud personal mailbox. Mailbox address: xxx@aliyun.com. Applicant: [Your Name] [Date]

Body: Include the following information: (1) The secure phone number associated with the account. (2) Details for three sent emails: recipient, sent time, and subject.

2. Our support staff receives your email and verifies that the provided phone number and sent email details are correct.

3. After verification, our support staff replies with important information and sets the account status to frozen or closed.

4. When you try to log on again, the message "This account has been frozen or closed" is displayed.
