Overview

This topic describes how to troubleshoot and resolve logon issues with BT Panel when it is deployed on an Alibaba Cloud Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instance.

Detailed information

Note

Note the following:

  • If you perform risky operations, such as modifying instances or data, ensure that the instance has disaster recovery and fault tolerance capabilities to protect your data.

  • Before you modify the configuration or data of an instance, such as an ECS or RDS instance, create a snapshot or enable a feature such as RDS log backup.

  • If you submitted security information, such as a username and password, on the Alibaba Cloud platform, change it promptly.

Choose the solution below that fits your situation.

Cannot access or log on to BT Panel

  1. Verify that the security group includes a rule that allows access on the required port. For more information, see Add a security group rule.

To view the current panel port, run the following command:

    cat /www/server/panel/data/port.pl
  2. Check the running status of the BT service on the server. Run the following command:

    /etc/init.d/bt status
  3. On a Linux server, enter bt to run the BT Panel command line.

On a Windows server, click "BT Panel" and open the "BT Windows Panel Toolbox". Use the toolbox to find your username and password or to make other changes.
