Content Moderation Enhanced Edition supports image, text, voice, video, and document moderation Enhanced Edition, and offers pay-as-you-go and subscription plans.

Prerequisites

To activate Content Moderation Enhanced, you must complete real-name registration for your account. For detailed instructions, see How to choose a real-name registration method.

Enable pay-as-you-go

Enabling pay-as-you-go for Content Moderation is free. You pay only for what you use. Compared to Content Moderation 1.0, Content Moderation Enhanced has a simpler pricing model. Scanning the same content for multiple risk scenarios costs 50% to 70% less than with Content Moderation 1.0. For details, see pricing details.

After you activate the pay-as-you-go billing method, Content Moderation Enhanced Edition bills based on the content type (images, text, voice, and more) and volume moderated.

Open the Content Moderation Enhanced Edition activation page.
Read and agree to Content Moderation Enhanced Edition Pay-As-You-Go Service Agreement, and then click Activate Now.

Content Moderation Enhanced Edition resource plan

For high-volume moderation or predictable usage, purchase a resource plan. Resource plans offer lower unit prices than pay-as-you-go, and larger plans provide greater savings. Usage is deducted from your plan based on the following formula: Deductible usage = Daily API calls x deduction coefficient for the service. For specific deduction coefficients, see Pricing details.

After you purchase a resource plan, Content Moderation Enhanced Edition deducts usage from the plan first. When the plan is depleted, the system automatically switches to pay-as-you-go. Monitor your remaining quota and pay-as-you-go charges. Configure quota alerts in the Resource Packs section of Alibaba Cloud Billing Management.

Note

The Content Moderation 2.0 resource plan cannot be shared with Content Moderation 1.0.

Renew resource plan

If your resource plan is depleted, purchase a new one on the Content Moderation Enhanced Edition resource plan purchase page. You can purchase multiple resource plans, and they are consumed in purchase order. The Enhanced Edition resource plan is valid for one year. Use the plan before it expires.

Purchase a content moderation QPS plan

If the default QPS does not meet your business needs or if you need to scan large data volumes quickly, purchase a Content Moderation QPS reservation to increase your capacity.

To purchase a QPS resource plan, contact your business manager or submit a ticket. You must provide your UID and specify the feature and region for configuration verification.
A QPS resource plan adds to your default QPS limit, whereas a QPS subscription plan sets your QPS limit to the purchased amount.

Overdue payments and top-ups

The billing cycle of Content Moderation Enhanced Edition is 1 hour.

Alibaba Cloud generates a bill in each billing cycle based on the quantity of resources that you used in the previous billing cycle and deducts the service fee accordingly from your Alibaba Cloud account. If you have a resource plan, usage is first deducted from the plan. Any excess usage is then charged to your account.

When the system detects overdue payments on your account, your service is suspended. After you make the payment, it takes effect within 5 minutes, and you can use Content Moderation again. For instructions on how to top up, see Top-up instructions.
