Renew instances

You must renew a subscription Data Transmission Service (DTS) instance within seven days after it expires. Otherwise, the instance is released and cannot be recovered. To avoid service interruptions, renew your instance before it expires or enable auto-renewal.

Note

Pay-as-you-go instances are billed based on actual usage and do not require renewal. Ensure that your account has a sufficient balance.

Manually renew an instance

  1. Go to the task list page for data synchronization or change tracking.

    DTS console

    1. Log on to the DTS console.

    2. In the left navigation pane, click Data Synchronization or Change Tracking.

    3. In the upper-left corner of the page, select the region where the DTS instance is located.

    The actual steps may vary based on the DMS mode and layout. For more information, see Simple mode and Customize the layout and style of the DMS console.

    1. Log on to the DMS console.

    2. In the top navigation bar, choose Data + AI > DTS > Data Synchronization or Data + AI > DTS > Change Tracking.

    3. To the right of the Data Synchronization Tasks or Change Tracking Tasks list, select the region where the DTS instance is located.

  2. Find the target DTS instance and click Renew in the Billing Method column.

  3. In the dialog box that appears, verify the instance's Basic Information. In the New Instance Class section, select a Subscription Duration.

  4. After you confirm the details, read and select Data Transmission Service (Pay-as-you-go) Service Terms.

  5. Click Pay.

Enable auto-renewal

  1. Log on to the DTS console.

  2. In the top navigation bar, choose Expenses > Renewal Management.

  3. On the Resource Renewal page, filter for Data Transmission Service instances.

  4. Click the Manual or Nonrenewal tab.

  5. Find the target instance, and in the Actions column, click Enable Auto Renewal.

    Note

    To enable auto-renewal for multiple instances, select the target instances and click Enable Auto Renewal at the bottom of the list.

  6. In the Enable Auto Renewal dialog box, select an Auto-renewal Cycle and click Auto Renew.

    Note

    • After auto-renewal is enabled, the system starts to deduct fees from your account nine days before the subscription instance expires. To ensure a successful renewal, ensure that your account has a sufficient balance.

    • After you enable auto-renewal, the system renews the instance for the auto-renewal duration you select. For example, if you select a three-month duration, the system charges you for a three-month subscription in each renewal cycle.
