You can reset a data synchronization task to stop synchronization or reconfigure the task.
Prerequisites
The data synchronization task is not in the Not configured state.Billing impact
- Subscription: No impact.
- Pay-as-you-go: The task enters the Not configured state and billing is paused. Billing resumes after you reconfigure and start the task.
Considerations
When you reset a task:- The task stops synchronizing incremental data and schema changes from the source to the destination database.
- All task configurations, including monitoring and alert policies, are cleared and the task enters the Not configured state.
Procedure
- Log on to the DTS console.
- In the left-side navigation pane, click Data Synchronization.
- In the upper part of the Synchronization Tasks page, select the region of the data synchronization instance.
- Find the data synchronization task. In the Operation column, choose .
- In the dialog box, click OK.
