View snapshot sizes by disk, time range, or region in the ECS console.
Prerequisites
At least one snapshot is created for a disk. See Create a snapshot.
View the snapshot size of a disk
A snapshot chain is a sequence of all snapshots of the same type for a disk. The total snapshot size is calculated based on the snapshot chain. See Snapshot principles.
A disk with only standard snapshots has one standard snapshot chain, and the total standard snapshot size is calculated from this chain.
If you archive some standard snapshots, the disk has two snapshot chains: standard and archive. The total size of each type is calculated from its chain. If all standard snapshots are archived, only the archive chain remains. See Archive snapshots.
Size calculation may take several minutes. Actual charges are reflected on your bill.
