When you create an application in Enterprise Distributed Application Service (EDAS), EDAS automatically adds the following security group rules to the Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instance that hosts the application.
Auto-created rules
Rule | Port/CIDR block | Network type | Purpose |
Monitoring and alerting log collection | Port range: | Classic network | Collects monitoring and alerting logs from the instance |
Health checks | Authorized CIDR block: | VPC | Performs health checks on the instance. Effective since March 23, 2018 |
EDAS guarantees that your account is not used for any other purposes.
